DORTMUND SIGNS EMRE CAN ON LOAN

Borussia Dortmund singed Emre Can on loan on deadline day and now it is left for the Germany international to prove his worth and force a permanent move after it has become clear that Maurizio Sarri does not fancy him.

With Juventus first match without the German against Fiorentina, it will be interesting to see if they end up missing him in any way. Adrian Mutu is also going to be on the lookout for the battle between two teams dear to his heart.

It is still hard to believe that Can is still 26. Meaning he does really have time to enjoy his prime. The thing with the German is that for all the qualities he might possess, convincing his coach to give him a permanent first team berth has always been kind of an issue. He is very good and can be very dependable but not just good enough. He is like the average beta male who brags about his faithfulness to his girlfriend without considering the fact that girls don’t even want to cheat with him.

In finding out that Sarri no longer considers him as even a backup at Juve, the Germany international realized there’s little he could do to change the old man’s mind and instead jumped at the chance of returning home to his country to a young and exciting team who just got boosted up by a young and exciting Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian was touted to be one of the best finishers in Europe but given the timeframe of his stats not many teams were willing to take a bet on him. In scoring a hattrick on his debut and adding a double in his next appearance, Emre Can sure has no doubt he is joining an exciting team.
